I am certainly not the guru on love and I have never promoted myself as such, I am a girl from Hobart Tasmania, I certainly did not have anything handed to me on a platter - my parents and grandparents were hard working and incredible role models, and for that I am eternally greatful.
At 28 my Nursing career in full swing, I fell in love with my soul mate and we became engaged. He was 14 years my senior which brought with the relationship much dispute. We had both been previously married and he had 2 young children to his first wife a boy and a girl.
As a result of a very acute illness, the children’s mum passed away very suddenly - within 7 days. They were 4 and 6 years old respectively. This was an incredibly difficult time for us all, most of all for the children and Rowan my husband. So here I was 28 years old with a whole new world and future of challenges to face - another situation that brought me to my knees.
What do I do next? Make the most of it dust off and create new wonderful possibilities.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger

We welcomed 2 more girls to make our lives complete.
